Another full day here in the Rockies. It is my mission to get to bed early so the blog has taken precendt over my Anatomy homework....this is not good. Today we continued to work on horses individually concentrating on the shoulder and rib area. Heidi snapped some excellent shots of us. The first pic is half of the class going to grab a couple of horses for us to work on. Check out that scenary!

This afternoon we had Quieting and Handling which focuses on getting a horses attention, leading, having them understand you through feel and body language. I tried to upload a video clip, but it was taking forever, my hope for an early night is gone. I won't post anything tomorrow as we are in the classroom all day with Business and Anatomy. May the blog be with you.
Jessica
P.S A special thank you "shout out" to Joe for the beautiful dream catchers. Liw and I have ours hanging in our windows....now if only I could get to bed and dream.

Jessa! The Battle of the Blog vs Homework should be an interesting one. My money's on the Blog - you enjoy entertaining far too much :) That picture with the mountains is awesome...You must be lovin it. Horses...Mountains...all that's missing is Brad Pitt from Ledgends - lol. And me of course - I'm missing. Hope all is well. Chat Soon -Muah!
Hey Jess, sounds like you are having a blast. I have been keeping up daily with your blogs but have just now made the time to sign up so I can comment.
I do hope that the blogging can continue but I also know how hard it is to learn anatomy... Memorize it that is the only way... I like the idea of pencil caryons. I think I used to make up little saying to go along with the muscle groups. Sorry don't remember them... Not too helpful am I.
Take care Heather
Jess: We will all miss your blog tonight but of course it is better to be doing anatomy homework!!!
Don't you just wish we had mountians in northern Ontario. I love them too. There is something so awe-inspiring about them - almost spiritual ... sweet dreams.
Auntie Shar.
I can see as usual you have had no trouble making friends with everyone around you and are entertaining all as you do best. I have been loving your blog and i am so envious of your time spent in such a beautiful place surrounded by all those horses. Boy, do i wish i could be there with you! Love the boots, glad your having a great time and can't wait to read more.

Glad to see that you are doing so well. We all miss you. Indy said "Hey thats Jessica petting a horsey...LUCKY" She will be very excited to see all your pictures. Take care, Gup
Yer spookin' the horses.....
They're wild and they're free....
still can't figure out how you get a horse to lay still on a massage table. Crash!!! You can lead a horse to a massage table but you can't get him to relax.
Great pictures!!
You certainly know how to pick the good path. Have fun, eat lots of good things and look after your hands eh....
